Why I built VaultKept

It started with a very ordinary problem.

My dad is getting older, and his documents have ended up in all sorts of places. Some are UK documents, some are from his time living in Denmark. Finding the complete picture isn't straightforward.

Then I thought about my own paperwork. I have four or five pensions sitting in a physical file at home. If I died tomorrow, I realised no friend or family member would know where to find them — or even know they existed.

That felt like a problem worth solving.
